09-07 Hawkesbury Junction on Coventry Canal

Monday 7th September:   Had a long cruise today making steady progress in reasonable weather along the lock free pound (excluding the final stop lock at Hawkesbury Junction)

with the intention of getting onto the Coventry canal today. Objective achieved.  Stopped for water after negotiating the Junction and then moored at the first available gap. Walked back with the dogs to visit the Greyhound again, this time just for a drink

going back to the boat to have our evening meal.
